It's close to high noon and something warm is lurking in the vent
Under fluorescent light you're hit by heat and almost pass right out
You start to sweat but droplets hit the desk right as you make it
You start to burn as horror looks you right between you eyes,
You start to fry

And no one's going to save you from the heat from all around

You hear the door slam and know the windows won't open outside
You feel your warm hands and wonder if you'll unstick from your chair
You close your eyes and hope the coke machine is not completely empty
But all the while you hear the vent pumping out its hot air
Get out of there

Night hackers call
And the faculty walk in their lecture hall

Now is the time to call physical facilities and hope they answer
They'll fix the vents and save you from the heat melting your screen
