For those of you who already know this, please forgive the repeat. For those who don't, here's the latest news: I have a new job. Again. Because the organization for which I work is going kablooey and I'm headed for being laid. Again. I'm going to be working at the Johnson Museum (on the Cornell campus); I'll split my time between there and the Cornell Theory Center (where I've been for the last two years) starting on Monday. I'll start full time at the museum on July 17. And full time will mean 30 hours a week, which could be an interesting switch from 40 hours. My job, you ask? What exactly will I be doing? Well, my title is publicity/publications coordinator. What that means is that all the printed stuff that comes out of the museum (brochures, newsletters, invitations, pamphlets) will come through me. So, it's largely a shepherding or traffic control job. The group I'll be part of seems very congenial and open and transparent (what you see is what's really there), which is very appealing to me. So, anyway. The *real* reason for this message is to let you know what my new e-mail address will be. Some of you might already have it, because in a sense it's my old one. But hey, it gave me an excuse to write to you. fes4@cornell.edu I hope all's well with you. Take care.
