Just came to my head. No particular reason.

"Glass Houses".

TO pick nits, you have the lyric slightly wrong:"

"Mr. BLue you're feeling right
"But soon comes Mr. Night
"Creeping over
"Now his hand is on your shoulder.
"Nevermind, I'll remember you this
"I'll remember you this way."

W#ell, the compilation (Which as a whole is entitled "Afterglow") is on CD.
The individual ELO albums I have on LP--all 11, plus one of their three
"Greatest Hits" albums (not counting "Afterglow") entitled "ELO's Greatest
Hits" (Don't laugh--the other two are "Ole' ELO" and "The Best of ELO").
Of note is their first album, called "No Answer" in the US, "ELO" in the UK.
I have an original British pressing. THe LP's are at my parents' house, but
I made tape copies a while back. I think the better albums are the ones on
1 theme--"Eldorado" and "Time". Actually, I like all the ones from their
middle years, so add to that "Face the Music", "A New World Record", "Out
of the Blue", and "Discovery". ("Time" is not from the middle period). Albums
with a few good songs (tended to be chart hits) were "On the Third Day" and
"Secret Messages". Most of the rest are for the fans, mostly. The first two
are harsher, wierder, and I ususally spout a disclaimer before I play them
for anyone. If you've seen "Electric Dreams", then you have a good idea of
what the last one sounds like--very pop-ish.

So, if I were to recommend albums, I would probably pick "Face the Music"
and "A New World Record". They are the most consistantly good throughout
the albums. That's for general recommendation.

You are welcome to listen to/copy whatever I have. I will say that I've
been aquiring these since I was in 5th grade; some of them are scratched.
"A New World Record" came scratched. A few of the tapes have the scratches
recorded into them, unfortunately. NOw that I have the compilations, I
may go back and rerecord oer the scratches (I think they all happen to be
in songs that I have multiple copies of :) But anyway, I thought I would
fore-warn you.

SO, that's probably much more than you wanted to know about the ELO, but
there's your answer. . .
