I then realized that with a few rules, a DNS Drinking game of sorts could be created. Score as follows: if name taken: name has more than 5 words or 15 letters (5 points). name has 3 to 4 words or 8 to 14 letters (3 points). name is two words, the first of which is 'my', 'e', or 'i' (2 points) if name available: name is 2 or 3 word common phrase (6 points) name is 2 words, the first of which is 'my', 'e', or 'i' (8 points) name is one word (10 points) name is one word, in a dictionary (20 points) name is one word, in a dictionary, 6 letters or fewer (50 points) name 5 letters or fewer (100 points) name in a dictionary, 5 letters or fewer (500 points) name 4 letters or fewer (200 points) name 4 letters or fewer, dictionary word (1000 points) All the above are for the .com hierarchy. Multiply (divide) by 5 for taken (available) names in the .net and .org hierarchies.
