Second Winter came early. It got up to 62°F (16°C)
by Jan 11-12, after a cold stretch of single digits (F). And then it
went back to the cold weather for a week.
But now it warmed up with
temperatures in the 40s F (mid to high single digits C). So I took
a walk with a friend, Saturday January 20, 2018.
Lots of houses had hoses pumping out water from their basements.
I didn't think to take pictures of it, since I didn't think there'd
be so many. But it was
a blue sky day and sunny, and I took a few pictures of Ithaca Falls,
as well as some of the broken ice on the path.
It's supposed to be rainy this week, and then Third Winter will
probably start mid week, with temperatures bouncing all over.
