[It live! It schemes!] At a project review, someone mentioned some program that was called "scheme-a-tron." It immediately called to mind an evil scientiest doing Mad Science to create a robot that could plot and scheme. The scientiest would, of course, be thrilled when his creation lives and schemes. And the Scheme-a-tron would sit there, tapping its fingers, laughing quietly (and robotically) to itself. The problem is that a Scheme-a-tron would do nothing more than scheme. It would not actually put any of its plans into motion. Nor would it actually TELL anyone, including its creator, all of the grand plans it envisions. Oh well, you can't have it all I suppose.

In retrospect, I think the program they mentioned was actually called "schema-tron" and deal with database schemas or XML or something mundane like that. I think my Scheme-a-tron is more interesting anyway. images/Drawings/Sketches/schemeatron.png
