[Ah ah ah AH!!!] As I was getting up this morning, they played the song "Body" by Mother Mother on the radio. I like the song. But it also sounds like a song that would be completely and easily turned into something that would have been on The Muppet Show, having the lead singer do a Boris Karloff voice and the backup singers would be a chorus of the Brides of Frankenstein. There'd be a big Frankenstein's Monster on a slab table that the lead singer would gleefully be plucking body parts out of as appropriate to the lyrics ("take the ears, take them and disappear...") and flinging them over the laboratory. Anyway, any visions of Muppets first thing in the morning can put one in a good mood, and my tablet was connected to my computer and photoshop was running so I decided to do a quick sketch reminiscent of The Count (Count Von Count to be accurate). It's not really supposed to look like him (no monocle, etc.), just kind of inspired by him. The folds in the cape kind of interested me. I used the pen tool in Photoshop, so it has a magic marker sort of look to it (except it doesn't dry out after a few minutes of use). And yes, those are bats on sticks being held off frame. I thought about putting in a stone wall as a background, but figured it would get too busy and I wanted this to be a quick doodle. And thus it was. images/Drawings/Sketches/count.png
