[Beware of the Mule, the 2nd Foundation, and Frank with Photoshop] I took a tour of the New York State Capitol building with my friend Stephanie, taking lots of pictures of the grand building and all its stone carvings. One picture included Stephanie on a staircase. I'm not sure if I thought of it at the time (it's completely possible that that was the motivation for the picture), but when reviewing it later, I realized it reminded me of the cover art of Asimov's Second Foundation book done by Michael Whelan. Specifically, her pose reminded me of how Arkady was standing. Sadly, she was not looking over her shoulder at the time, but I think it's still close enough. The thought bounced around in my head a bit, then I looked up the image and decided it wouldn't be too hard to replace one with the other. Turns out it was pretty easy (editing things out in Photoshop is frighteningly simple). And thus we have today's image. images/Drawings/Sketches/Stephanie-Arkady-sm.jpg
