[One point for effort] I played indoor ultimate frisbee on Friday night. I almost made a decent defensive play. In reality, my hand touched the frisbee, as it sailed over my head in the endzone, but I didn't actually grab it. However, the visual image of me hanging from it, Daffy Duck style, is funnier than just a near-miss tip.

Once again, another all photoshop image. The astroturf was from a grass texture, and I tried to put in some background, just so it wouldn't be visually barren. I also added shading to the coloring and played with some zig-zaggy tails on the speech balloons. I added the color because I wasn't terribly happy with the basic lines. Felt like it would still be a bit too hard to figure out what's going on without the color cues. Took a few hours to generate.

Oh, and in ultimate frisbee, ties (like if both offense and defense catch the frisbee at the same time) do go to the offense. So even if I had caught it, it wouldn't have mattered. images/Drawings/Sketches/tie.png
