[Actually, if you ask them, movies think they're personification.] I think it began with a phone conversation with my friend Tania about whether parts of speech are still taught in schools. Then I think I made both of the comments in this cartoon. However, had we been in a movie together, we would have had this conversation.

This was a quick sketch. Actually, I had drawn it a week ago only to discover that unplugging my Wacon tablet now craashes my Windows VM under VirtualBox, thus losing the first drawing. So this one was drawn, inked, and highlighted in a couple hours. First a sketch in Photoshop, then some inking in Illustrator, plus the speech balloons, then back into Photoshop for the white highlights and final touches. I decided to try the white highlights mostly on a whim to see how they looked. Certainly an experiment, but there are places where they work. images/Drawings/Sketches/movies.png
