[ultimate snow layout!] We had a foot or two of snow at Cass Park yesterday and played pickup ultimate frisbee in the snow. There were layouts, snowballs, and the usual mayhem that is snow ultimate. Halfway through, I had an idea for a picture like this and afterwards Eric Ryan helped me stage this picture. Yes, sadly, it is a bit faked, as there's a sidewalk that's a couple feet lower than the drifts. But it is, in fact, my arm and hand grabbing the frisbee, and I was getting damned cold and wet lying on the cold, cold ground while Eric took a few photos. Huzzah! images/Photos/snow-ultimate.jpg
