["Bring it on!"] I ran a 2 session D&D game for friends recently (actually for two different sets of friends in different states). The main battle ends when the evil bad guy super-zombie is killed. But as his final action, the bad guy digs his hands into the ground and releases all his evil necrotic energy. The bad news is that this is in a graveyard, and it kind of explodes with a lot of zombies. The good news is that there is a brief interlude where the group gets to chat with a deity (well, an avatar of one). The bad news is it's Loki. The good news is that he's impresed with their work. The bad news is that he grows bored with them and transports them back to where they were. The good news is that he gives each of them a divine boon, just before the fight begins, which sort of supercharges them. Thus, the game ends with a bang, as they clear off the board in about 2 rounds.
