[It tasted pretty good.] The other day I made a sort of black bean and lentil stew with various other things in it. I decided as a leftover, it might benefit from being topped with a poached egg. The first time I tried it, there was some poached egg and the rest became a sort of ghostly egg drop soup. I ate it and it was fine. At some point I'll have to try to make that for real. Yesterday I tried it again, and it was a lot closer. The egg could have been cooked a little more, but otherwise the shape was decent and it tasted fine. The first time I used the swirling method with the water, which just turned the egg white into an exploding galaxy. The second time I put salt and vinegar in the water.
