[I wasn't in an exit row, so no Twilight Zone joke here.] I was flying back from Florida a bit over a week ago and the plane's wing was between an overcast layer that was breaking up below it, and an almost full moon in a clear sky above it. The full undercast looked cool, but lacked any texture, just mostly a light gray color. This actually looked a bit more interesting. All I had was my somewhat newer flip phone so I figured I'd see how the picture looked. I was surprised that the moon was visible at all. I kind of like it and it was better than nothing.

I could see how this sort of thing could inspire the lyric, "If you get caught between the moon and New York City," though I might not have even been in New York state when I took this picture (I was flying into Syracuse). Also, I must admit the title of this image is less inspired, more literal than average.
