[Yes, I am a dweeb.] A bit late, but Friday night, October 29, we had a Halloween Ultimate Frisbee costume-recommended game. I had some ideas but they didn't come to fruition, so instead I wore a cap and gown over a pair of surgical scrubs and went as Doctor Doctor (or if I were a Marvel villain, I'd be Doc Doc). Among the thing going on, someone brought a hula hoop and cajoled people into trying it. Suffice to say that I'm pretty good at getting it to stop rotating rather quickly. But I tried (and failed). In the background is Lauren with her 3-month-old daugher who is dressed in an orange NASA jumpsuit costume. Lauren was planning to wear something similar, but found she no longer had access to one. Also, while my costume had a mortarboard cap, it fell off pretty quickly whenever I ran and it was cold enough that a ski cap seemed like a better choice in the long run. And oddly enough, I was able to run in the gown. A bigger version of the triple picture is here. images/Drawings/Sketches/frank-hula-sm.png
