["He's touching me again! QUIT IT! MOMMMMM!!!!"] I like how the previous drawing came out, but was disappointed at how the face turned out. So I decided to try again, but this time just focusing on the person (i.e., me). I think the expression is much closer to the original photo. I also decided to try to work on a little bit of background. I was concerned the bricks would be way too tedious to do, but they weren't too bad and look OK. I tried to add a few impurities or textures to a few of them. I was experimenting with a little hatching on the left side to give a different texture and darkness level to see how that looked, and the bottom (under the arm) was some reflextions off the window that's mostly abtract but again, gives some texture.

Overall I like it. The eyes and my glasses need work, but that's fine. My right hand looks better than the left one, but the thresholding reduced it to mostly white on white. I tried a little cross-hatching on the hand, but didn't like it so just made it all white and then put a black line around the edge. I suppose I could have drawn lines for the fingers too. The full size image is here. I'll be trying something different next. images/Drawings/Sketches/skeleton-touch-sm.png
