["I should stop touching my Adam's Apple, that'll only make more people notice it."] This is the second silhouette picture I drew the other day. It's more complicated, has more details, and (sadly) doesn't look as accurate as the first one. The neck is too thin and the back line has too much of an angle, making her look too big. The shoulder and eye have a sort of wood-cut drawing look to it, which is fine, but not what I was going for. To be honest, the hand in the reference image was really hard to tell what it was, so the fact that it's suggestive of a hand is fine. Staring at the original, I think the thumb is the left-most digit on her hand, but it was hard to tell, so I'm OK with the ambiguity. And I think she looks mostly like a human, so that's good enough for a somewhat quick drawing (pencil first, then white ink, maybe took an hour or so).
