["I'm flying...flying, I tell you!"] On a lark, I decided to get a Pigma Micron 02 pen by Sakura (0.30mm), to see if I'd like it for writing as well as doodling. Someone I know was using one and said it was his standard pen. I haven't done much but it seems pretty nice. Good inkflow, dark ink, quick drying. I've used it for some notes and some random doodles but decided this would be a good excuse to draw something and add it here. I drew some mountain things earlier which is nice with the fine point. I thought maybe have someone in a hot-air balloon above it, but that would be too much trouble and the basket would obscure the person. Then I thought about some image of Opus from Bloom County floating with balloons attached to his waiste/butt. I can't find that image but I drew a random person doing the same thing. The person is wearing shorts and a t-shirt, waiving and holding a walkie-talkie radio. It was a very quick drawing, though I jotted it down in pencil first before using the Micron pen. It's fun to doodle, and the shadowing of the mountains is easy and fun. Also, I never decided the gender of the person or if the thing in the upper corner is the sun or the moon, since neither really matter to the drawing (I said it was quick).
