[Some days can be more difficult to navigate than others...] Three motivations here. 1. Other than yesterday, I haven't put much up here recently. 2. I had doodled this on a calendar page that turned into scrap paper and it looked a little cool. I think this was me playing with a Micron pen. And anything else I was trying to draw would take too much time. 3. Someone at work used the word 'calendar' as a verb instead of a noun, as an activity she wanted to do. I really didn't know what she meant, since certainly she couldn't have meant "schedule" or "put something on a calendar" since those are existing terms that are unambiguous. As I was cropping and cleaning up the image, it occurred to me that perhaps I had been "calendaring" when I was drawing doodles on a calendar (hence the title). But really, I imagine it means creating a calendar, and that takes way more effort than I'd want to do. Anyway, when I was originally doodling on the paper, I just wanted to draw some cool '70s-looking swirly patterns. For those who are curious, the page is from July 2024 (last month), and I had printed the month in the wrong form, so it became a page with a lot of straight lines at 90 degree angles, kind of starter fodder for doodles. Addendum: the smaller image looks better, cleaner, to me, but the full size scan is here. images/Drawings/Sketches/calendaring-sm.png
