[I was thinking of adding a third arm that has a knife/serving-spatula, but didn't have enough time.] A friend was celebrating his 60th birthday todayh (with a viewing of the movie What's Up, Doc? at a local theater). He works at the local maker-space in the public library, so I figured I'd draw something homemade, mechanical, and maybe a bit technological with a bit of retro thrown in. Or I was just stealing themes of having all sorts of weird robots from Bob the Angry Flower. In either case, I would up with this picture. I thought it was OK given the time constraint. Yes, the body is a wrapped gift and there bow is on the top of its head. I imagine that it was 3-D printed, but there's no evidence in the drawing. Similarly, there's no actual evidence that AI of any sort is used. But that doesn't mean it's not! And the "overflow" error was a reference to the typical "getting old" birthday cards. I thought about using color but I didn't have time and couldn't find my regular eraser I use after I ink a sketch (you can see the streaks by the bottom of the upper speech balloon. Here's the full size image for those who are curious about such things. images/Drawings/Sketches/birthday-bot-sm.png
