[I believe the boat was named The Pappyship II.] My sister asked if I wanted an old photo of me as a kid. I said sure. I was probably around 6 years old at the time, so sometime in the early 1970s. It was in Pittsburgh, where my Aunt Ruth and Uncle Rovin lived. Rovin was in the process of building a sailboat, which he used for quite a few years. Nibs, their dog, was supervising me. He was quite a smart dog. While it mgiht look like I'm holding a tool that's good at putting holes in things, which is not what you want a lot of in boats, I think it has a screwdriver attachment. My father had a darkroom in our house and it's likely we printed this picture ourselves.
