[I see London, I see France, I see White Nose's chalk cliff pants (sorry, that's the best I could do...)] I took this picture from Dover Castle (on The White Cliffs of Dover), looking across the English Channel (about 35 miles) to France at their white chalk cliffs, called Cap Blanc-Nez (Cape White Nose—it's not a cocaine joke). Earlier in the day we could only see a shadow suggesting France, but later in the day it cleared up and the cliffs stood out. It was quite cool to see. This is an unprocessed picture (not adjusting the contrast and stuff, so the finished one later might look better). Even so, it's not bad.
