The Fells is a fairly large wooded area about 5 miles north
of Boston with a few bodies of water in it. I-93 also cuts
through the middle of the area, going north/south. The South
Reservoir is on the west side of it and my friend Tom and I
hiked around the area. It was in mid-October and the leaves
were in full color mode. Some of the areas looked like a Bob
Ross painting complete with some "happy trees" scattered around.
There were a lot of freaky trees there too. Here are some
photo highlights of our travels.
October 18, 2023.
The next day we went to the
deCordova Statue Park complete with various photos of that trip too.

It's a little weird with the rotation, but I mostly wanted to capture
the sound of the stream—which was interrupted by a cell phone
<doink>.
