Subtitle: There are a lot of airplanes at Oshkosh. Here are a few samples of some planes, plus a few shots showing a small fraction of the general aviation planes parked on the grass.

Other Oshkosh 2013 pages: 000-A300-panorama: An Airbus A300. It's a pretty large plane—old, short-range, widebody. It wasn't popular with the airlines but FedEx uses it for cargo. It was surprisingly huge, considering A320s are pretty small. This is a panoramic shot consisting of 5 pictures 'stitched' together. 001-DSC_4759: The road is an active plane taxiway. EAA volunteers keep pedestrians safe when aircraft are taxiing. 002-DSC_4760: In addition to the small, private planes, a Ford Tri-Motor taxies out to give passengers a scenic flight around the airport. 003-DSC_4761: It's hard to show just how many planes are parked at the airport. Lots and lots of them. 004-DSC_4799: I watched planes land on Runway 27. This small bi-plane zipped in low and fast. I wasn't sure if it was a random yahoo but it turns out it'san airshow plane. 005-DSC_4801: N540SS is a Pitss S-2S Special. 006-DSC_4802: I wanted to get an action shot of the Pitts in focus with the background blurred. 007-DSC_4803: 008-DSC_4805: 009-DSC_4821: The view from a small stand looking out towards Runway 18/36. 010-DSC_4822: Another view from the stand, looking to the north. 011-DSC_4841: The cockpit of the Beech King Air 350. 012-DSC_4843: Another shot of the Beech King Air 350 cockpit. 013-DSC_4906: Brent Chidsey's Waco, which he flew from Ithaca to Oshkosh, hoping to sell. 014-DSC_4933-header: The Ultralight, Homebuilt, and Helicopter Section 014-DSC_4933-headertext: 014-DSC_4933: An ultralight plane. 015-DSC_4934: Another ultralight. 016-DSC_4935: A gyroplane/gyrocopter. 017-DSC_4936: 018-DSC_4937: 019-DSC_4938: The announcer's booth. When the area is active, they fly a green flag next to the wind sock. Once the airshow starts, they replace the green flag with a red flag to indicate that the planes must stop flying. 020-DSC_4939: More ultralights.
