Mnemsha
Mnemsha is a small fishing village on the northwest
part of the Island. It has a beach, a couple seafood stores, and a number
of artists there, showing and selling their works. At this point it was
long past "the season", so none of the shops were busy, and many
of the people were happy to chat with us. Very different in the middle
of summer where everything is crowded and crazy.

As far as I know, none in the water died from hypotermia
on the spot.

The owner was friendly.

The John Presbury Norton Farm
The John Presbury Norton Farm is
a trail through the woods is part of the
Martha's Vineyard Land Bank.
It's on the north-central part of the Island. It was very woodsy
and didn't feel like we were on a relatively small island.
It being a woodsy area, there were a lot of trees, as one might expect.
But many were kind of odd looking trees that had facial expressions.
Most of my pictures are mug shots of some of the trees.
