Jacko is a Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever or a Toller. In reality, he's a crotch-burrowing, serpentine leg-winding shedder. But a nice dog. And a picture of father and daughter. resolution pictures to read all the details.

And then three shots of the inital climbout after takeoff. The first two are right after breaking ground, and then the third is a few seconds later, with the Tanana River visible below us.

Another shot of the Tanana River, this time we're a lot higher than we were when I was flying in the Skyhawk. And a picture of us as we're cruising. The third picture is something we haven't seen in two weeks: dark! But it's not that dark, as dawn is fast approaching. We're heading in to Minneapolis airport.

And finally, as a bonus, after Minneapolis, we (eventually) got to Rochester and spent the night with friends. It was the night of July 2nd. Down the road from their house was a field that was lit up by fireflies. It was impressive. I took a few handheld shots of the field. Sure, it's dark, but amazingly, if you look at the full-size version of the images, you'll be able to see a few green dots which are the fireflies. More impressive than fireworks and more impressive in person.
