Click the arrow icons to view the previous or next picture.
Alternatively, press the left or right arrow keys.
To scroll horizontally for panoramic pictures, either
click on the horizontal scrollbar, or hit <shift>-<tab>
to toggle focus off of the main window, and then the arrow keys
will work as usual.
Hitting the <tab> key then returns focus to the main
window and the left and right arrow keys will perform as
described above.

OK, this one might actually have a shooting star in it. Look at the bigger view and there's a streak just to the left of the center going up and down. Didn't see it when I took the picture, but it seems like some sort of, er, thing. This was the only one that was not at a wide angle, it was around 70mm (around 100mm for a 35mm camera).
