Late Night Waterfall Shadow Bird Art

It's art, damn it!

A Cornell art student had an art installation called "Featherlight (foul falls)" at Ithaca Falls on Friday night, September 26, 2014. It involved a bunch of birds on poles, made from the material from sacks of rice. They were supposed to be eagles, but looked like seagulls to me. Big lights light the area and cast shadows on the falls. It was neat. My friend Ellen, whom I ran into there, took some pictures of me and the event with her phone. The photos below are all courtesy of Ellen Chase. Here is an article from the Cornell student newspaper on it.
