A Colorful Fall Day
I took a quick walk around the block at the end of the day and realized
the sun was low and bright yellow, the sky was very blue, and the leaves
on the trees were green, yellow, and two Burning Bushes that can only
be described as
RED!!!.
The Fall colors have been nice this year. I wanted to take a few
pictures before all the leaves fall. And thus I did.

A large leaf lit by the late day sun. I did move it
so it wouldn't be shadowed.

A mostly-dead tree with some night light and shadows on it.
Burning bush plants
Yes, they're an invasive species and don't do
a whole lot for most of the year, but in Autumn, they are aggressively red.
They grab you by the collar and shake you screaming "REEEEEEEED!!!" into
your face like a drill sergeant. For years I've wanted to take some
pictures of them when they are in their shouty red phase. And now I finally
did.
