Two quick shots of the remains of an old building with some more modern structure visible behind it.

The Armory looks cool and castle-like. Not sure what's in it now.

I met my friend Diane in the "Alphabet District" (the street names follow alphabetical order) and saw a telephone pole where lots and lots of notes, notices, and fliers had been posted. It was nothing but a mass of the remains of paper pulp with nothing that could be read. I found it visually interesting. Across the street from the telephone pole was my friend Diane, wearing a bright orange down jacket (it was August, she was feeling the cold).

More interesting buildings. THe Meier and Frank Co. building is in the first two shots, and sadly is in pretty run-down shape for a building that shares my name. The third shot is of the "Loyalty Bldg" which was right by the parking garage (I was on top of the garage). I found it a somewhat odd yet intriguing name.

From the top of the parking garage I took a shot of the street below, and then one looing to the west (I think) with the highway visible.

And finally, another old brick building with some cool fire escape stairs from the top of the parking garage, 10 floors up.
