Across the street from where Jim works is a big-ass sculpture of a big, red, rubber stamp with "free" on it. SOHIO commissioned the stamp, became BP, then they decided they didn't want it and offered it to the city for free. They accepted. Kind of weird, but kind of in a dull way.

The first shot is of the Soldiers and Sailors monument on Public Square at the hard of downtown. The BP building is beond the monument, in the second picture. A free trolley runs downtown and I took a picture of myself and Jim while we were riding it.

The Science Museum is right by Lake Erie. I've never been there (it was built after I moved). It's got a cool wind turbine that cast a neat shadow on the OmniMAX dome. The turbine was going about 60 RPM (one revolution per second, which, considering the size of it, is rather hauling ass).

And a couple shots of the turbine's shadow on the OmniMAX theater.

And finally, one of the Browns stadium (also new since I left) and the park in front of it.
