Munich was the next stop on the trip, after a 3 hour train trip from Bonn.
It was a crowded train because a big train strike was going to occur the
next day. We got in in mid-afternoon and had a few hours to wander around.
I had plans, so many plans for Munich of things to see and do, people to meet,
and places to go.
Alas, plans change, as did my itinerary. However, I walked over the
Isar River, around the Old Town area, to Marienplatz, as well as some
other platz-es (not to be confused with plotz, which
at times I felt like doing). The light wasn't good so I figured I'd
take pictures the next day or so a bit earlier in the day when there
would be better light. That was one plan. I did go to the Deutsches
Museum, which was a cool kind of science-y place and took a few pictures
there. And one of the Isar River. And on the train on the way out.
