A Tour of the Sognefjord by Boat
The cruise boat (it was a small ferry) goes from Gudvangen to Flåm,
starting at the southern part of Nærøyfjord and ending at the
southern part of Aurlandsfjord, which are both branches off of Sognefjord.
There are a lot of pictures here. And most are kind of the
same thing, water, mountains, rock, snow, and sky. I don't know the
exact location of most of these places, though they're not that far
away from each other. The boat trip took about 2 hours total.
It was quite beautiful.
Stephanie took a bunch of pictures too. For many, I'm not really
sure which ones are hers and which are mine.
I was able to identify a few of the places. Some I have guesses on.
Others are "somewhere between Gudvangen and Flåm."
Similarly, there are many, many waterfalls and I can't
identify most of them. Assume the captions for all of those would read:
A beautiful waterfall on the Sognefjord in Norway.
Similarly, most of the mountains, snow-capped, and otherwise, are
equally beyond my ability to identify. A number of places look
reminiscent of some of the settings for the Lord of the Rings movies
(even though they were filmed in New Zealand).

It was a bit cool on the boat and a little wind, even though
